Route 30


 Route 30 is a north-south route located in central Johto. The northern end of the route is at Route 31 just south of the west entrance of Dark Cave. The southern end is at the northern edge of Cherrygrove City.
 It is the second route encountered by Trainers in Johto. From its southern end at Cherrygrove, the route turns northeast to avoid a ledge on the route that overlooks a patch of grass. Heading south, this ledge can be used to avoid the grass altogether.
 The route emerges in an open area just north of the ledge. In the center of the area is a house owned by a man who is well-versed in the healing powers of Apricorns. To the left of his house is, incidentally, an Apricorn tree. West of the tree is a southbound-only path containing a ledge preventing northbound access. East of the house is a two-way path that runs along a small pond and through another area of grass.
 North of the grass patch, the route comes to another open area. Here, Route 30 splits into two segments, a western path that leads to Route 31 and an eastern path that leads to the house of Mr. Pokémon. Initially, A Trainer must take the east path north through a series of grassy areas to Mr. Pokémon's house, located in the northeast corner of the route, to meet Professor Oak and receive the Pokédex. Mr. Pokémon also gives The Trainer an Egg to take to Professor Elm, which the player will receive once again in Violet City.
 The western branch of the route is impassable until after the Trainer has defeated his/her rival back in New Bark Town. Once this is complete, the Trainer may continue northward, weaving around ledges and Trainers and passing through grassy areas towards Dark Cave and Route 31.
 There is a small Cut-able tree near Mr. Pokémon's house that allows for passage between the two halves of the route, which is separated by a dense forest for most of the route.

Satoshi came running into Route 30 after running out of Cherrygrove City. He didn't look back as he headed north. He kept running as fast as his Automail legs could take him. He kept running and noticed a house. He shook his head and ran north even more until he found a fork in the path. One leads north but in a westerly direction and the other goes north in an Easterly position. He chooses the East path and runs that way. A little while later he got to a single house surrounded by trees. He couldnt escape this way but he knew Kay would have left to search for him by now so he ran into the house and slammed the door closed. He looks around the house as he recognizes this house.
"This is Mr.Pokemon's house from when he was alive......Hmm? What is this?"
He sees something on the desk reflecting light. He walked over to it and picked the outdated Pokegear.
"Nice. I guess i can keep this....."
He starts deleting the numbers that he dont know of and then see's Silver Evans in it.
"Nii-san? It can't be....."
He rings the number and places the Pokegear against his ear waiting for an answer.

Kay was following Satoshi from the sky on his Charizard, when he could no longer see Satoshi within the trees, he had Charizard land. Kay sent out his Ursaring to plow down a path, knocking trees aside. Kay and his two Pokemon eventually made it to what use to be the house of Mr. Pokemon. Kay sent out the rest of his Pokemon, and they all surrounded the house. "This is the only place Satoshi could hide,, when he comes out, we trap him." Kay said, chuckling to himself.

He heard Silver's voice and slightly smiled. But as soon as he heard silver he also heard Kay. HE started to panic as he held the pokegear tightly.
"Nii-san. It is Satoshi. Help me! Kay-sama is trying to kill me! HE...zzzt...h..p Sil......ple....!
The connection cut off as i looked scared. He his inside the house confused as to why Kay hasn't entered yet.

Kay sighed and walked into the house, he saw Satoshi and gave a warm smile, "I just want to talk with you for now, thhere's no reason to be afraid of me." Kay sat down at a table.

He kept as far away from Kay as he could as he looked scared of him.
"A...And how can i trust Rocket scum? After all. Team Rocket lie, cheat and other things to get what you want when you want it!"

Kay grinned wildly, as he was hopping Satoshi would act this way. "well, if you want to run, you can't. I have the place surrounded, so of you want to get out here alive, I'd say you should tell me what I want to know."

It was obvious that Satoshi was completely trapped with no hopes of escape. He sighed and walked to the table and sat in front of Kay
"What do you want to know then?"

Kay handed Satoshi an old Rocket report file. the picture on the front almost looked like Yarashi. the only differences where that the man in the photo had green eyes and some of his hair is longer than the rest, and that part seemed to grow around the cheeks.

"I have reason to believe that this man, Subiro, is out to try to destroy the Rockets. A grunt had supposedly seen him on his prized Salamance. Do you know about Subiro or someone who looks like him?" Kay asked Satoshi calmly.

He looked over at the picture and inspected it closely. He instantly knew it was Yarashi Kaminato. He looked down and looked guilty.
"Sir. This man is the champion. Everyone knows of him. And i am sure you know of him too.A...And to see his picture here. It's just shocking. HE is the one who defeated your Charizard. And also he is the one who kidnapped me. After he defeated your Charizard i went behind him and killed him without mercy. If you wanted him alive i am sorry sir but he is now dead!"

"Ah, so it was not Subiro, but his oldest son Yarashi ..." Kay chuckled. "what did you kill this man with exactly?"

He thought for a moment and remembers he still had the knife he killed the kid with. He removed his bag and took the pokemon egg out. He took out his Uniform. He then dug deep and took the knife out.
"I killed him with this Kay. I wanted to keep the knife to remind myself of me killing him. Me overpowering the Champion. Me becoming a darker and more heartless man."
The knife was stained with the blood as he put everything back into his bag.
"Is it possible for you to leave now. I am done with Team Rocket!"

Kay smiled and put hos left hand on Satoshi's left shoulder. "And if I see Yarashi alive, I'll know to destroy him, and then come back for you. So save yourself the misery and tell me where I can find him, hmm?" Kay couldn't trust someone who ran at the first sight of him.

He froze up as he knew that the lie was well thought out and was believable. Kay couldn't of known about the incident before he even met Kay.....could he? He hit himself in the face and looked at Kay coldly.
"I killed him and i enjoyed every second of it. If you do not believe me then it doesn't matter. What i am telling you is the truth. Sure im afraid of you but i will not lie to you. After all. My entire life is at rick if i do isnt it? Also. Why would i lie about something this cruel if 1. I never did it. and 2. If i wasn't proud of killing someone of such high rank. So think about it Kay-sama. I killed Yarashi Kaminato and i enjoyed it!"
He was more calm and relaxed as he said all of this.

"Your kill seemed to be the exact same kind that you had done befor joining my sector, and the easy truth of this is obviouse. you might be protecting Yarashi from me? am I right?" Kay glared at Satoshi. He didn't seem to be the kind of guy to kill someone who was mportant. He should know that doing so would put him on the world's black list.

"LISTEN TO ME YOU STUBBORN IDIOT! I KILLED YARASHI WITH MY BARE HANDS. I LOVED IT. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IF I HAD THE CHANCE. I DO NOT CARE OF THE CONSEQUENCES ALL I CARE ABOUT IS THE THRILL OF KILLING! IF YOU AREN'T CAREFUL YOU WILL BE NEXT!"
He was getting angry as the constant disapproval from Kay but he had to keep it up. He didn't care if Yarashi hated him and ditched him. He cared about Yarashi's safety as they were friends.
"I do not take orders from no one anymore! I am done with Team Rocket. You got that? Or do i have to make it so that a puppy can understand. I QUIT TEAM ROCKET!"

Kay did what he had to to get out Satoshi's rage. It was safe to say that Satoshi was protecting Yarashi. "Drop the act, your horrible at keeping your mind to yourself you know." Kay said with a Sigh. "I should just go to that new ranch that is getting so much fame latly. If Yarashi is realy dead, I cam put his wife in his place." Kay knew Satoshi had no way around this now.

He looked shocked. He couldnt let anyone he know die. He felt guilty as he then looked at Kay and a tear rolled down his face.
"I killed Yarashi. But please leave his wife alone. I dont want her to die! Please Kay. All I want is for you to kill me instead of Yarashi's wife."

Kay grinned wildly as he headed for the door, "if you want her safe, reach Ecruteke before I decide to harm her." Kay chuckled as he began to open the door.

He looked at kay and sighed. He knew this wouldnt work.
"Kay.....What can i do to stop you from killing her? I want to keep her safe. Tell me and i will do it. I promise."

Kay turned and gathered a serious face. "You can tell the truth for once ... is Yarashi alive?" Kay looked like he knew the answer.

He sighs heavily as he looked at Kay. He hated the thought of giving in but it was to do what is right. He looked guilty even more and then took a deep breath.
"Yarashi is still alive. I did not kill him. I am trying to protect him from you since Yarashi is a good man and he does not deserve to have his life ruined by a scum bag like you! There. You got what you wanted. Now get lost before i get angry!"

Kay chuckled, "now you just have one last role to play." Keeping his armor on this time, Kay got into a combat stance. "I wish I could use my new methods of killing on you, but your Pokémon are too weak to make that fun." Kay chuckled.

He froze up at the words as he started to worry again. He looked at Kay as he readied himself and got into a battle position. He didnt like this one bit.
"W...What are you going to do? I.....I gave you all the information you needed!"

Kay jolted his arm forward, and flicked out 3 fingers, gently striking Satoshi's neck at the side and holding his position that way. This procedure could be used to knock out the victim without hurting them. "All in due time."
